Sales Manager – Events & Hospitality Venue
Location: Berkshire (near M4 & Heathrow)
Salary: Up to £34,200 per year
Job Type: Full-Time | 45 hours per week

About the Role
As Sales Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving revenue across all areas of the venue — including rooms, meetings, private events, and catering. You’ll develop and implement strategic sales plans, build strong client relationships, and work closely with our internal teams to ensure seamless event delivery.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue goals.

Identify and pursue new business opportunities across corporate, leisure, group, and agency markets.

Nurture existing client relationships to encourage repeat business.

Conduct site visits, client meetings, and contract negotiations.

Partner with marketing to create compelling packages and promotions.

Prepare sales reports and performance forecasts for senior leadership.

Represent the venue at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions.

Maintain up-to-date CRM records.

Collaborate with operations and F&B teams to ensure excellent client experiences.

Stay informed on market trends and competitor activity.
What We're Looking For

Minimum 3 years of experience in hotel or hospitality sales.

Proven track record in meeting/exceeding sales targets.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

A proactive, self-motivated approach to business development.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Experience with hotel sales systems (e.g., Opera) is a plus.

Degree in Hospitality, Business, Marketing, or related field (preferred).
